The new Corvette C8 Grand Sport arrives this year with a new naturally aspirated "Small Block" 6.7-litre V8 engine producing 550hp.

Rumors :

- Use a new "Small Block" naturally aspirated 6.7-litre V8 engine
- Will have 550hp
- Will have the "Widebody" of the C8 Z06
- Will be under $100K
- Will get a Manual Gearbox in option

Rumour: Unveiling of the C8 Grand Sport and Grand Sport X in April. The X version of the Grand Sport will replace the E-Ray with a hybrid system and AWD.

The E-Ray is a sales dud in the otherwise world-beating lineup in either pricing or sheer performance. Nice save by GM/Corvette team to avoid it stagnating on the market.

Yet none of the major manufacturers seem to get the memo from nearly every enthusiast or are too far along in R&D activities to pivot. They are a maintenance liabilities to keep longer term, and the it mixed power outputs (even when seamless) takes away from the visceral, "no replacement for displacement" performance people are longing for.

The second-hand market is not for the weak across the board, while the simpler previous models are appreciating. Even the Revuelto is not looking like a car to hold long term like it's predecessors, which is something I did not have in my cards.

Same goes with the screens.
As we can see from the AMG GT XX Thread, there are screens everywhere although people are getting annoyed from them.
