GT 4-Door Coupé (X290) 2026 AMG GT 4-Door Vision EV

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé (X290) is the first generation five-door variant of the AMG GT two-door sports car. Production: September 2018– Model years: 2019–
It all depends on the context I guess. Every visual stuff I post on here is either my own design work, or a realistic render based on the actual spy photos that I hand sketch, then translate into 3D. I never use AI to create something completely fictional.
But yeah, instances like the Alpina cabrio, or other design renders might be counted as non realistic. It’s important to keep the visual stuff related to the topic, otherwise it’s pure nonsense. I totally agree on that.

For what it's worth, your Alpina cabriolet is breathtaking.

You are the boss, how about simply banning AI from GCF??

I'd be fine if posted in AI specific threads. Anywhere else is not fine.

I'm guessing that at some point they will add a 4th electric motor? Also I guess at some point there will be a GT43 and GT53. I mean 816hp is a lot for a base model. The 43 and 53 would bring that price down too. I actually think this might sell for about 18 months before sales take a nosedive.

M
Honestly I think even the GT 55 with 816hp and 1800nm is crazy fast and if each of these motors produces 480hp then we can have a 480hp GT43 with a single motor RWD and a 680hp GT53 with twin motor RWD or twin motor AWD. If a more powerful version is required for a future Black Series or GT73 then they can pump up the power of the 3 motors to 1440hp or even add a 4th motor and then a stupendous 1920hp will be available to slay any Ferrari or Bugatti.

It's actually the torque that's the real menace with those Yasa motors.
480hp yes, but 800Nm. And they're working on even more power dense motors.

A 4 motor version would have a frankly comedic 1920hp and 3200Nm of torque.

Imagine that, a new EV based on an 11 year old design (which was fugly back then too)
Well actually that IAA concept was pretty nice, but the EQ Silver Arrow is just horrible.

I swear, these f#cking EQ cars..... they're killing me.

Well...... damn
Looks like Gorden was right after all, we'll be stuck with his car until like 2035

Can you show us which 15 year old design elements you're referring to?

The modern interpretation of the inverted panamericana grille goes back to 2013 concept gran turismo , the slanted lights from f125 concept from 2011.
And yes, I would assume the design for the next-gen s class ,c class, e class , gls ,gle, glc ,gla, g wagon, roadsters and coupes is frozen by this point.

Can imagine the acceleration been quite brutal on the GT63

The V8 (fake) sounds just like the 4ltr V8 in other AMG models (as per RBR)

Dude, my man, sir, the underlying design is completely changed by AI. That whole front is completely different form the real thing. What is even the point of posting junk like that?

I was attempting to create a visual that may be construed as..."more serial production compatible" perhaps. I simply perceived the authentic concept's front end as being "too far out there". Although I did try to retain it with minor modifications, but the results just did not work for me. I also removed the spine-bone on the glass roof area and smoothed the surface under the rear lighting unit arch. Also added some "more M-B signature like" exterior doorhandles. But hey...simply my very own "design wet dream" of an automobile I'd love to see in the metal, well aware that it is categorically impossible. Obviously, I love the Vision IAA 2015 concept.

I have a new ideal garage: GT 63 Coupe and GT 55 4-Door EV. May have to let someone else take that humongous EV depreciation though... ouch. I wonder how much one will be worth coming off lease. Buying one new seems money suicide.

I mean at the moment it's just a toy for people with more money than sense.
But as a technical showcase for what's possible, will probably be reasonably effective

The comments remind of the C63SE.

Did anybody notice that this car‘s got worse comments than the C63SE under every YouTube video.

It’s probably the newly presented car with worst comments in 26.

95% are negative, it’s imho not a surprise TBH.

Except for some executives in Affalterbach.
