Miserable, pathetic, ugly... both inside and outside. What happened to my favourite brand?
Gorden was fired. Next round will be good again, have faith. This is no doubt a Gorden car.

Gorden really damaged this brand lately. How did Ola confirm this thing even?Gorden was fired. Next round will be good again, have faith. This is no doubt a Gorden car.
The U.S will have them too, in 1000 years when they realise the big V8 isn't exactly working for them..
Scathing!IMHO, Mercedes has design-wise, the ugliest, least desirable line up of all carmakers I can think of.
Just Peugeot with their over designed crap comes close.
Is the interior made by Aliexpress aroma diffuser or cheap bluetooth speakers manufacturers?
Thankfully, Wagener is gone. Overrated, pompous designer with grandiose delusion.
Personally, I think Ola is also damaging the brand, he is not paying attention to the regular customers and what things matter to them. Mercedes monitoring the attention to detail quality in their latest products facelifts is definitely below par. The thick bezel screens on the S-class and the GLE/GLS together with the black piano black trim on the door cards is totally unacceptable for cars costing more than $100K. The horrible capacitive controls on the steering wheels also is not easy to use and looks cheap. There are many cheaper cars coming from Hyundai/Kia and now even the VW ID Polo that have screens with thinner bezels. Gees the ID Polo costs a third of the price and doesn't have shiny piano plastic in the cabin at all and has proper buttons on the steering wheel.Gorden really damaged this brand lately. Wait what? I had no idea, lol. Glad you liked it though, means a lot.@Uygar: Congrats on your "Vision" of the car presented on autoevolution.com. You've really nailed it in several aspects in which M-B AMG designers failed to do so. Especially the rear 3/4 view image. So SPOT ON. Cool "birdeyes" as well. Impressive pieces of work.
They worried that someone sitting in the back will be so far pushed back in the seat they won't be able to put their drink down in the cupholder so they left them outBTW no armrest and no cupholders in the back but 4 zone climate control WTF
Link to see it?Wait what? I had no idea, lol. Glad you liked it though, means a lot.
Didn’t anyone at MB notice that there is more black on the rear that painted area?
I was referring exclusively to the design, nothing but praise for the the inner workings, which appears to be top-notch, and possibly its handling for this class as well, although we'll have to see.Nothing innovative or special? Tough words considering the drive is supposed to be a revelation. High horsepower numbers aren’t really the differentiating factor with EVs. Let’s see how things performs before lack of innovation or lack of aggression is claimed. That’s not to be determine by looking at the car.
Actually, it's not like that., the last Mercedes = "butterflies" were the last S-Class coupe, the W124/W205/W213/W222, the SLR/SLS, and so many others. Mercedes have always done that for me. Seeing the R129 made me forget who I was with, what I was wearing, and the city I was in.And let’s be clear, you especially were never going to get butterflies looking at any Mercedes.![]()
