Absolutely agree. Also, the transformational process has become so multinational with various partnerships primarily between Chinese, European and South Korean entities. And to an until now somewhat lesser extent, Japanese and North American. A large number of German/Austrian engineers and researchers based in China as well. Can you imagine the change that has had to take place at the German companies? They used to develop cars over a long period of time, like 5-7 years and even longer back in the 80's. They've had to do a massive pivot, and it's clearly been a struggle. It first happened when the Japanese entered the luxury car space, but that is absolutely nothing compared to the Chinese onslaught.
