I would not consider the previous generation as "gorgeous". When it was released, it rubbed many of us the wrong way and looked like a beached whale. Even in real life, from behind it gave the air of a lifted station wagon. Sure, it grew on me over time.

Yeah the rear looked kinda flubby.
Should have just juiced up the E63.

Interesting, preferences I guess. I always loved the way it looked, especially with aero-kit delete and chrome details. Looked so yummy.
