Well, everyone looks kinda disappointed

I'm officially sick of that steering wheel and I don't see the point of showing a person driving endlessly with no footage of the car on the road in the corners. What do you get out of watching her hold the steering wheel for the entire video?

The whole progressive reveal trend sucks. I very very much miss the days when all was revealed in one event. Now its tech reveal, driving reveal, interior reveal, and then exterior reveal. What a joke…

Yeah I agree. The only thing I will say I do like is when drop a heavy load of tech and specs before the actual car. I do still like that, but yeah the interior and first drives with camo I can do without. Mercedes in particular has so many cars to show that should just get on with it. This particular car is one of the worst, longest drawn out intros I can remember. I'm so over it. I mean on checked out.

As of this morning CET, I've become a bit apprehensive regarding the public reception of this car's exterior/interior design. BMW AG's (ALPINA) presentation may turn out to be a shower on AMG's parade. Despite the Vision ALPINA "merely" being a concept.

I state this without the slightest trace of gloating and spite. And I, of course, may be wrong.

Since the ALPINA is a concept, it competes with the likes of the Vision ICONIC.

You seem to be constantly trying to be pessimistic about Mercedes cars.:ROFLMAO:

Admittedly, I am not liking the occasional excessive kitsch presented in their more current offerings. My personal take, nothing more, nothing less. And please, I am certainly NOT susceptible to fanboi-ism.

My suspicion is that their profits are so low they try to compensate with content revenue, and the more content they post, the more views, hopefully more revenue. Of course I’m joking, they will never have enough views to make a dime actually but whatever….
