i have a bad feeling this car will look too Mercedes EQ like

Grill/sensor shield, sideglass graphics, lighting units front and rear and tacked-on trimpieces are my concerns.

Hoping for an at least pleasant surprise. I'd prefer an exciting one, though.

I really hope you’re not going by that one post that was fake. Clearly there is nothing EQ about this car is the actual pics. Look at the above pics. There is no EQ there.

Yeah but it’s about the SARS - EQ details where they can mess this up.

Give it a CLA like headlamps with that glowy unibrow and they are done, no matter how Ferrari ass it will get.

Yes..."Gaze Worthiness" really counts in the higher echelons of the automotive brand/model hierarchy. The slighest of blemishes can seriously diminish the visual experience. And precisely this is leaving me apprehensive pertaining to this vehicle.

I'm anticipating...well...I do not really know what to anticipate at this point. IMHO, the "buzz" has been diminished due to seemingly endless streams of "teasers" and camofoiled prototype footage. Will the official presentation later this month be ultimately anticlimactic ? Or will we be witness to a blow-away visual that leaves us stunned, goosebumped and breathless ? It's been a while since M-B has, in my mind, accomplished this. Vision CLS Concept at the 2003 IAA in Frankfurt and the later C219, maybe ?

I'm really hoping that it is the latter. I really am.

The current state of affairs in the world make it difficult to make predictions for next week, not to mention months or years from now. But FWIW...pieces of innuendo here and there indicate the SSP Sport architecture successors of the current J1.2 Taycan and etron GT will be truly remarkable. But the presentations of these cars are scheduled for 2029-30. Not far away...and yet...soooo far away.
