C'mon mate. The headlight shape may be similar, but the cars will be worlds apart in terms of overall design.

Picking at certain details seems to be superfluous these days as there is so much 'cross-pollination' with the fluid movement of designers between companies, on top of the long standing tradition of copying German designs.

It was a time.. A time, where BMW gave an effort to the headlight design and made stunning looking headlights. The headlights with beautiful details there everybody (include people at Mars) could see it was a BMW upcoming in your rear view mirror. What an era!
