I trust (and hope) that this car is so heavily disguised that it bears little if any resemblance to the actual finished production version. The prototype is apparently wearing some heavy armour leaving it already looking obsolete. What lurks beneath simply must be something far different, far more eye pleasing.

I was thinking there's some thick cladding as well. But if that's the case, then what lies underneath then ought to be something quite svelte. Actually, a little too svelte for something in this size/class. So I'm quite sure what to think.

It also conveys some of that to me, as if it were a prototype from two decades ago or more ...., but I think that under that camouflage and confusing shapes something special is coming, I wouldn't mind a retro-modern aprouch
Seriously though, this is giving me E32 vibes. Good stuff.
I always consider it the cutest and roundest in the whole series 7, so I hope

What's so funny @PanterroR! lol

Like Klier said, it's got strong E32 vibes, which I really like. Removal of the Camo will probably shave an inch or two off the front, but I'm really digging the hood edge sitting in front of the lower bumper!

BMW just needs to be BMW with this 7 and needs to stop trying to make it an S.

It does not seem to me at all, the 7 series has always been faithful to its format more oriented to sports and design roots, obviously in the segment, luxury prevails and they have to adapt to that, sales indicate it, but rather the S is the one that became a little more sporty following the general trend

What a mystery this front fascia is. It's safe to assume it will have similar styling as the X7 refresh. New pictures show the grill remains and gives no indication of a lower pronounced grill as shown on this very cool rendering. Plus, I question if that would pass pedestrian safety laws which has stopped similar aggressive grilles from coming to fruition on a production model. Maybe we will see separate headlight units. Who knows?

These two images shows how heavy the cladding is on the rear c-pillar window. We really don't know what's going on here.

Not sure what you folks are puzzled by, to me it's just the end piece of the glasshouse trim with a traditional H-kink shape closely matching the curvature of the little window. Only this time around the end trim piece is broken off from the rest since it isn't solidary with the opening door but is fixed to the car's body, as is the case on the 3er, allowing to visually stretch the daylight opening backwards
