Poor sloth lol

Seriously though, I am still interested. Let me just say I am surprised, to say the very least, that BMW has managed to keep this car under wraps all this time considering the leaking basket the company is. Should have been on Alibaba for various cheap aftermarket parts already....

Is this a concept?

Could be... or just yet another speculative render of sorts...

That looks....interesting. I'd venture and say it's a render by just the way the grille and the way those hood lines integrate. The rear haunches have some detailing that has me intrigued.

I like it?

EDIT: The front end with all that camo reminds me of the previous gen Quattroporte

This could be very good if this is the real deal, but the chances are probably slim to none. I like the front. That’s why I have no interest in concept cars. Always a let down.

They're the VFL haunches.

That's why it has my intrigued. ;) Prototypes thus far, with the covering that portion, seems to a smooth, even line running through the rear haunches. A bit of that VFL magic there would definitely break it up, but I doubt they'll do that considering the 7er tends to appeal to a more conservative audience. Then again, there's nothing conservative about the front on this.

A large piece of hard-plastic cladding continues to disguise the grill. It is quite possible that it will not be as polarizing as many seem to anticipate. That VFL-like rendering features a grill that does not extend upwards into the frontal area of the hood sheetmetal, but is rather pulled downwards towards the lip of the front skirt.

G11/12 introduced those VFL wheels in production form. I think this is 7 superimposed over VFL?

Yeah, I meant more literally, they're literally the VFL haunches because the base image seems to be from the VFL on the stand at Auto China 2014.
