Wow. Debut tomorrow. Didn’t expect it.

• CLA frontlights
• C-Class grille
• E-Class front bumper
• GLC side creases
• GLC Coupe rearlights
• C-Class interior

Is this really the best MB can do?

The new CLK successor will be built in Bremen and will reach the customer at the end of 2023

The convertible will then come in spring 2024.

The interior is based on the C-Class. The size more on the E-Class. At 4.93m, the CLE is significantly longer than the previous C-Class Coupé.

In the rear, it's much more airy than before, but you don't have that much headroom either.

The CLE coupé has a fixed B-pillar and the windows in the rear cannot be opened.


There should be three options for the chassis:

default
sports suspension
Adaptive chassis with adaptive dampers

There is also the 2.5 degree rear axle steering from the C-Class. It is not the 4.5 degrees from GLC or E-Class.


A plug-in hybrid is coming for the first time in a coupe!

The engines should come with the following engines:

CLE 200 with 204 hp + 23 hp
CLE 300 4matic with 258 +23 hp
CLE 300e Plug-in Hybrid 204+ 129 hp
CLE 450 4matic (6-cylinder M256M) with 381 hp + 23 hp

CLE 220d with 197 hp + 23 hp as well
CLE 300d with 265 hp + 23 hp

The bonnet has two clear power domes that are clearly visible from the interior.

The CLE 63 S E Performance with 680 hp and P3 plug-in hybrid will come later.

According to the logic with the CLE 450 4matic, the CLE 53 AMG 4matic with 449 hp and R6 petrol engine would have to come. (This has not yet been communicated).
