The Honda Civic is a series of automobiles manufactured by Honda since 1972. As of 2023, the Civic is positioned between the Honda Fit/City and Honda Accord in Honda's global passenger car line-up.

To be honest these cars have moved beyond hot hatches, maybe mega hatches? LOL!
But going slightly backwards in time the first generation Renault Clio Williams would be just right for where I live!

I am an old school guy and those older Hot Hatches like the Clio Williams and 205/306 GTi as well as VW Golf GTi Mark 1 and 2 are just the tits. They are fun with a capital FTo be honest these cars have moved beyond hot hatches, maybe mega hatches? LOL!

The reviews are GLOWING! I'll definitely test drive this car. I respect the Type R but couldn't see myself behind the wheel of the predecessors. Their styling was too aggressive and perhaps juvenile.
I love the design of the new car. The front end is timeless and muscular, matched by a rear that has an ample amount of aggression. There's a lot of moaning about the price but pretty much every car is expensive! This isn't your un of the mill recipe hot hatch with AWD and an auto/dual clutch gearbox.
The chassis, gearbox and balance of the car is probably nothing short of sublime.
One nitpick is that I would not call it a hot hatch. It's too long and coupe shaped to be one.

I think people need to stop moaning about the price of this car.
In the past 12 months every single newly announced car is expensive with list prices jumping 15-20%. Porsche is probably the only manufacturer that has not adjusted their prices for inflation.
