"Breaking Bad" and "The Sopranos" rank as my favorite television series of all time. "True Detective" is very, very good as well. Especially the first season with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

I agree about Breaking Bad, that show is up there as one of the best TV shows.
Kind of funny how I found out about it. A friend of a friend of mine who happened to look like one of the Characters of the show told me to "definitely check that show out, you will not regret it."
I did and was impressed, even with the epic ending. I have not seen the movie yet though, invited my neighbors over to watch but they are so damn busy.
Will check out True Detective as well, it looks like a good show.

El Camino is a must see if you liked Breaking Bad, it's almost like two more episodes of it made into a movie.
And if you liked Breaking Bad, you should really check "Better Call Saul", which is the current series by the same creators and in a way a prequel to Breaking Bad.

I am somewhat ashamed to admit it, but I've yet to see The Shining. Perhaps I ought rectify this grave omission but till then I will hang my head in shame.
