I'd like to see a timed acceleration video. Hopefully somebody will post a video soon. I have a question: is sunroof an optional for the E63? Because I noticed that the cars they tested didn't have sunroofs.

I'm betting a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) time of 3.3 seconds on a dry tarmac.

96kmh below 3,2 sec on wet road with not full potential in first gear.
So on dry it could be around 3,1 sec IMO.
This car is so close 3 sec barrier.
I even wouldn't be surprised if it break 3 sec barrier and goes under. With ideal start and on the dry road. Reminds me with this crazy acceleration on 991 Turbo.
It's crazy performance sedan, super saloon. Brilliant job done by Merc. I didn't expect this quick machine, to be honest. AMG never created so much advanced and brutal performance sedan.

its quick, a couple of reviews have said the gearbox is slow to shift even in sports + i wonder if this is hindering the cars potential to be even quicker.

Not having a dual clutch in this car is a problem.

Unless you like chrome, I suggest you to specify with the AMG night package, because the chrome fake air intake looks silly.

What a sporty yet elegant side profile.the shoulder line is so awesome.Love.
I think it's very easy to remove it from the body if you want to.

If you look at a lot of the videos the upshifts on full acceleration are really quick (probably at least 0.15sec or quicker) so I don't think a dual clutch gearbox will provide hardly any improvement in shift times. For a powerful car like this the traction is the main thing and then probably gearshift ratios, powerband, torque spread and then gearshift speed to get a good time.

Yep, cars like these need a double clutch.

I think it's very easy to remove it from the body if you want to.

I don't like the chrome trim, but I prefer these wheels to the black wheels.
