Continental 2017 Lincoln Continental spy pics/ info

Doesn't look like a Bentley at all imo, exept for maybe the FWD proportions. Why would Ford ruin the car like that? DOA.

Ditto. The buzz surrounding the Continental died when it was confirmed to be FWB, sharing its platform with the Ford Taurus. Yet another half-arsed FWD american luxury attempt to compete the establishment? Shame cause the RWD-proprtioned concept looked really good in person. Even concept's chrome-silver buttons are now matte black plastic.

Ford has a habit of listening to consumer opinion some of the time. Its a similar story with the new GT and Raptor. Owners on the various forums simply aren't convinced about Ecoboost and some after-market companies are already planning for engine swaps.

Rwd proportions?
I always thought the concept had fwd proportions with it`s slightly elongated overhang.
Still, it was a rather good looking car. Heck, the only RWD car in the Ford line up is the Mustang.

In person the concept's proportions were spot on imo, front overhang being minimal compared to say a Flying Spur. There's no denying the concept's good looks.

The concept seemed to be as long and wide as a Mulsanne, the production version is similar in proportion to the Cadillac XTS.

The interior is bad really.
Almost better than the Cadillac CT6.

^^^ Agreed, and it's unfortunate. The gauge cluster looks like it is out of the 80s and could they not have upgraded the center stack? The vents look so cheap.
