Unless you keep it as a garage queen and don't drive it, I doubt it will appreciate too much despite being the last NA M3 and the last M3 coupe. There are just too many of them. The GTS and CRT on other hand should almost definitely appreciate.
But I agree, keep it stock or make sure the mods are easily reversed if you want to retain as much value as possible.
Population on Earth is growing, autonomous driving is knocking on the door... in 25 years things will be MUCH different and there won't be that many mint M3s on the market but twice as many people wanting to get one. It's just my opinion
