That is why I wanted AM and AMG/MB to hook up. Oh well, even with the outclassed engines I still love these cars and in the real world, 490hp is clearly not slow and the sound these cars make is ridiculous. Pass given from me.

I agree, but these cars have few if any peers when it comes to looks and from what I've always read/been told they drive beautifully too. Their old-school GTs. Everything can't and shouldn't be a Ferrari/Porsche/Lamborghini.

That said I would like to at least see the DBS move up to 600hp now.

I have said it in the picture thread of this car and I will say it here. Why the heck is it called the Virage?

I love Aston Martin, I really do, but come on! I just don't get it. It is a freaking DB9 with a new name? That doesn't make much sense now does it?

Also--again I love AM more than you can imagine--I am starting to really dislike how all of their cars look the same. I mean, porsche who uses many of the same freaking panels, buttons, etc, in all of their cars distinguishes the different models a lot more than AM. For example, the entire carrer line, gt2, gt3, etc., is way more distinctive than AM's line at the present moment.

This is just my take on it, I am not angry. I promise. :D

I agree with what you said. It would have made more sense if it was a DB9 replacement or at least a facelift.

The only thing I can think about is that Aston Martin will phase out the DB9 name and the DBS in favor of their traditional names like the Vanquish, Vantage, etc.

Their current line includes the Vantage, so perhaps they want to go back to that.

That guy says the same exact thing about every Aston he drives. No surprise here.

If you look up youtube videos of him driving the Astons and compare it to the article and other things he has said, it is all the same thing.

I think this is it, the perfect Aston Martin, absolutely flawless. The minor exterior updates have really lifted the appearance of the DB9. This Virage looks more athletic than the DB9, the new bumpers, side skirts and largely those headlights from the Rapide combine to create a nice visual enhancement of the original body shape without looking like the DBS, which I think was an unfortunate example of when plastic surgery goes wrong.

I want one, in this color combine with red leather interior and I will keep it for life.
