F1 2011 Malaysian GP

Monster: Petrov's incident was a driver error more than anything. He didn't lift off when tried to get back on track but when full throttle over the curb from the outside of it. The replay of it was frightening. I hope his spine and back is al right. I hope he'll deliver in the next coming races and give top drivers a good tug. I relish Renault's comeback.

This year they'll be the BMW Sauber of 2008 i.e the team that ruin strategies for top drivers. It will be vital for Red Bull, Ferrari or Mclaren to qualify ahead of Renault but also not lose out to them at the start of the race. Heidfeld has an amazing launch at start. Once of the best I've seen in the recent years.

F1 News > Hamilton and Alonso penalised

Wasn't expecting this. I didn't see Hamilton's double move on TV.

Me neither, and to be honest I don't think Alonso deserved a penalty for the collision with Hamilton. Lewis was barely effected at all.

If Lewis did change position more than once then it was nothing compared to what he did in Malaysia last year trying to fend off Petrov on the pit straight.

Weaving 101.

Oh yes, let´s punish the drivers responsible for the most exciting part of the race. BRAVO!!:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull-Renault are becoming almost eerily dominant. The lad and his team haven't put a foot wrong this season so far. I do however remain confident that the competition, especially McLaren and perhaps Ferrari, Renault will up their game considerably as the season progresses. I admit to having my reservations when it comes to the Mercedes-Benz team.

As courageous as Michael Schumachers' comeback is, I suspect that Formula One in general has evolved so immensely since his 2006 retirement that he may find himself a bit over his head. Despite his remarkable level of physical fitness, the man is going to turn 43 soon. Sands of time wearing down reflexes and making it difficult for him to compete with drivers in their early-to-late 20s'. But his effort remains bold and I do not think that it will diminish his legacy should he call it quits for good at the end of this season.

Nick Heidfeld was pretty stellar today. And I must say that I'm liking this Paul di Resta chap. I reckon that he is going to give Adrian Sutil some big headaches this season.

For those who didn't watch the footage, they would probably think this screenshot is fake.

I like how he look down at the steering wheel after the impact and thought "WTF"
