RX 2010 Lexus RX leaked!

This is true. However, it's not that hard to make a somewhat appealing design. I don't want Lexus to draft the most gorgeous SUV ever. But only to make it look good. Not more, not less: looking good.

Here, it's wrong. And I am sure that some clients won't buy it because it looks so bad. Look is a very important reason in a choice of a car (or of pretty much everything). So even it you don't want the most stylish car, you don't want it to look crap either.

Lexus should put some effort in the design of their cars. Not making it their first priority, of course, but at least designing good looking cars!:t-hands:

This car will sell good, sure. But it could've done better with an attractive shape, imo.

However, I won't complain about that given that I'm a fan of the German trio...;)

I detect design cues from Lincoln and Subaru in it plus the general shape of the current RX. Still bland. No doubt it will sell well with soccer moms and teenage girls who love telling people they drive a "Leeeeeeeexuuuuuuus"! :D

The correct way to say it is that some American consumers are idiots. In truth a lot of buyers don't care about design or styling or simply put how a car "looks". They care about price, quality, reliability, space etc. These are the reasons why the RX has been and will be a hit again for 2010 model. Hell this is why Toyota itself is so big now. People who like design/style/looks don't shop Toyota unless they have no taste and think a Toyota or Lexus is a good looking car to begin with. Such a consumer (not enthusiast) wouldn't be confortable behind the wheel or a much more stylish car.

True, well said.

The RX will be a good vehicle and it will be reliable and have fancy gadgets that will impress some people and the price will probably be just right. Personally I'd rather go for an SUV that does everything better (offroad, towing, handling and of course long-distance cruising) like the ML/GL, X5 or Q7. Lexus might be known for quality and reliability but they keep falling short on things that matter to consumers in Europe and elsewhere like what I just mentioned above in the parenthesis.

Speaking of which, I was at the local Toyota dealership today and they had a bunch of new Landcruisers there. Those are really good-looking trucks in my opinion. A shame they messed it up on the LX570, which looks like an abomination. The Toyota version on the other hand looks cleaner, more elegant and just as imposing or premium.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you hate the RX then you'll probably despise the new one. And if you love the RX then you're most likely a housewife.

Although I'm not a fan of the RX and can't image myself ever wanting to be seen driving one I level headed with Lexus on this new evolution and can see what they have done here. But still the rear end is utterly appalling while the front is reasonably acceptable.

Rear-end is a disaster, why did they have to go for tail light shapes like that as well as the horrendous graphic.

I can't wait for the Lexus diehards to scream in our faces how this thing has an interior that rivals a Bentley and is sooooooo good offroad too!

And how the folks choosing to drive the hybrid version actually care about the environment and are making a difference!
