C-Class 2007 MB C-Class... Con't Thread 2

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

Wow it really is going to be a baby S-Class all over again, sort of a letdown for me. That definitely is some type of AMG or sports version.

I hope MB puts the same effort behind the C's development as they did the new S-Class because so far the S-Class has been glitch free from everything I've seen so far. I mean there isn't a problem thread anywhere on MBWorld.org.

Where are the signature AMG design traits? wheels? front skirt? I think what we are looking at here is the top of the range C350 sports sedan.

wow this is gr8.. love these last pics..BRING IT ON:D

It does...just the way E did 4 years ago, and just like E, it's gonna look boring and dated 4 years from now...I've lost faith in Merc designs...

The grill looks a little weird to me from this angle. Looks a little flat and not big enough in terms of height. I love how the S' grill is very big in hight. The c's looks wide but short. It's shaping up, and I love how more and more camo is coming off!!

I think you are correct this is not the AMG W204.

It's alright, Im not chastising you. LoL.

I'm pretty sure in my analysis, keeping in mind the way the SLK350 has been designed, that this is much the same thought. I'm 95% that this is indeed a sports package equipped W204 C-class, more specifically the C350.

It could very well be. I'm just getting frustrated at all these spy pics from MB nowadays. They look awful in some shots and great in others. This new C and the CL are so guilty of this, pretty much like the S was.

Trick is to take what you see w/ a grain of salt. The camo is going to screw up the visual perspective for you, so you must be paitent. As I said abotu my experience w/ the E92, seeing all the camo pics my expecatations were at a low for the car, then I was pleasantly suprised beyond belief once I saw the car in offical PR pics.

I really like huckfeldt's ps..If it looks like that it will sell. Hopefully it will be a little more modern. If its too conservative it will become dated quickly I believe..

True that is the same for me with the S-Class. When they had those wheel arches wrapped in plastic it looked like a something awful...lol!

Taking shape nicely, This version of the C-Class has an unusually thin C-Pillar.
Thick C-Pillars were always an MB hallmark.

Here're some nice scoops, along with the current C-class.
The new C-class seems much wider than the current one. :)

We can now clearly see the shape of the tailghts... They are kind of a miz in shape between Huckfeldt's and the other red CGI,,,, That pop up screen looks pretty cool....

dont keep your hopes up..the car is more or less done as far as interior and exterior goes..
i like it.. and for those who dont to bad for them..:D

Those side mirrors are huge.

I like the dash. I think the Nav screen is a fixed test version. The final will likely fit much neater. I remember people screaming about the S interior, R interior, etc. Everything came out just fine.

The car looks very good. Reminds me a lot more of the 90s C model. Things are shaping up nicely. I like how they tied the taillights in with the accent line. I am glad they don't extend to the top of the trunk-lid. Te taillights on the E and CLK look too big. this is better. I aslo like how the grill is more upright. It is too laid back in some of the newer models.

i just hope it has another inch or two of rear leg room. this has always been the C's big downfall. With the larer S, the whole product line need to grow slightly.
