I am now finding out first hand how complex the W140 is. The car is so complicated and overbuilt. It is a wonder Mercedes was able to build it for so many years.

From your experience, how so?

I've run into a few problems with mine. The vacuum pump that pulls the doors close is out and the climate control fan has some type of short in the wiring.
