Why, if I may ask? A message board is meant to move a little, sticky threads are very unnatural.

I also feel that their are too many sticky threads on GCF. IMO only pictures threads should be sticked and one or two threads about important up coming models which are more or less confirmed such as the R8 and Panamera.

I unsticl quite a few of them but cant catch all of them....

The 3er section needs some heavy cleaning, it's quite nasty in there.

It's the least of our problems maintaining the site, but you bring a good point klier. The stickies are most of the times used for the main page, then as they keep being added, the news archive section keeps showing them (at the bottom of the main page as well). Some stickies tend to remain a bit longer than they should, we've already started removing some of them, thanks AlxAmg and Just_me.

Well, thanks guys. It's quite bothersome to always see the same sticky threads when I open a sub-forum.

IMO, 1 or 2 stickys is more than enough period. For the rest, if people do not post in a certain thread, that thread can simple go down and slowly disappear.

For the rest, nice job guys !!!

I took the chance to clean the Audi and VW forums too. We didn't had too many stickies over there but i removed some anyway.
