I love it when it goes bad for Ferrari, never liked them.

If Ferrari manages to get a well sorted car in 2007, I'm pretty sure they will be quite competetive since Bridgestone will be only tire supplier.

I used to like Ferrari when they had Berger and Alesi racing for them. It's like the whole team had more personality back then.

So-so race...

Too bad for Kimi for not having a chance to fight... and really too bad for Heidfeld for blowing the engine with 7 laps to go! 5th would have been nice for BMW.

I'm was also a little dissapointed with McLaren's pace... Monty couldn't really challenge the top cars. But maybe that was the drivers's fault more than the car's fault.

On the flip side, the BMWs seem to have improved. I mean Heidfeld kept pace with the Ferraris!

We'll see what happens next race.

Fantastic Fisico. Sadly, this means he'll probably suck in the nest 3 races.
Renault and Alonso are off to a good start for yet another take it all season.
I honestly tought that Ferrari, McLaren and perhaps Honda will challange Renault, butt nothing.
BMW seems to improve, good for tham, now if only the engines won't blow up.

Renault is great, Honda is very good, Williams too, don't care for Screwderia Ferrari and McLaren sucks! Their engines need more power!!!!!!!

Nothing special, but just wanted to post this for those anti-Montoya....

High praise for Montoya

Dennis predicts a strong season ahead

Ron Dennis has offered high praise for McLaren's Colombian driver, saying Juan Pablo Montoya is one of Formula One's hardest workers.

Dennis told F1 Racing magazine that he had 'never' seen a Grand Prix pilot put in more preparation for a new season.

Dennis' praise is in the context of the fact that either Montoya or team-mate Kimi Raikkonen will have to make way next year for Fernando Alonso.

But, despite revealing an initially 'predictable' reaction to the news that Alonso was en route, Dennis said Montoya simply got to work.
“I'm very sure he'll have a much better season than he did last year.”

Montoya works hard (obviously), so his crew must work even harder.

nuthing is wronge with mclarens engines , they r reliable , and if kimi was there they would probly got pole...

I'm with Moss. There is nothing wrong with the MB engines. They have been reliable so far it was stupid Klein who hit the back of Kimmi. Not to mention kimi has already been on the pole this year and his car has worked the hardest so far, seeing as how he got 3rd from almost deadlast.

The Merc engines according to lots of rumors and what I witnessed on Speeds coverage are the second most powerful (basing on revs) after Cosworth. Hehe...and we all saw what happened to Williams in Malaysia. The reason why Mclaren didn't look so impressive at Malaysia was because of Kimi's premature departure.

Edit: By second most powerful I'm speaking of peak power, they certainly don't have the lowdown and midrange torque like Renualt currently has...yet... :)

What about BMW? From what I've heard they usually have the most powerfull engines in F1.

I haven't heard much about them I think they are still having problems with vibrations, they also have a chassis to worry about. The way I would rank it for the time being is:
Cosworth
Merc
Honda / Toyota / Ferrari (unreliable)
Renault (overall excellent powerband)
BMW

I don't know if the Merc engines are second most powerful or not...what i do know is that McMerc is definately the fastest...at least in the hands of Kimmi.

From what i read (but remember that all what you read is supposition)
Cosworth>Renault>BMW>Toy/Honda>Merc/Ferrai.
