You know what is most interesting about the film is that Ford paid the film makers about 14 million US in order to have the Ford Mondeo in the movie. Also, Daniel Craig had the car modified because he does not drive stick.

Ford must have made full use of it. I saw the Ford Mondeo, the Aston Martin DBS, the Range Rover Sport, the Jaguar XJ...

Well if you notice the last few James Bond films, you will see that ford dominates a lot of things.

It is expected for you to notice everything Ford and nothing else. I think the only exception was the police in Montenegro.

Nevertheless, when Bond says something to the effect of, "The bitch is dead" M asks him if he ever wondered why he was let go from the torture. She goes on by saying that she basically saved his life by promising the money. Interesting what happens. She litereally saved his life twice, with the heart attack and the torture. How many times did he save hers? sad

I agree, she's what you'd call an Enigma.

She is a traitor of Bond to save her own boyfriend and yet she saves his life.

Yes certaintly, i think that was another reason with Casino Royale was different, James Bond isn't supposed to get beat up and tortured, but here he does. Makes it more realistic.

P.S. on a slightly OT note, i saw 6 people leave the theatre half way through the movie

Well he is suppose to be a normal person. I think Ian Fleming wanted that and he attempted to convey that. However, society does not like to portray a man as faulty or imperfect. So, in an attempt to equalize things, you will see old movies such as OHMS where Bond does not cry. Bond does not get sweaty and bloody like this guy did.

This guy looks like he came from the special ops in the UK. He can bleed. He can get banged up pretty badly. He doesn't walk out of the Aston Martin when it gets all banged up. He gets pulled out.

This guy is the best Bond no doubt about it for me.

You are right Jeff. That just goes to show that he is human. He is not always going to say the same stupid line all the time, "Shaken but not stirred." He was under stress at the moment and the damn guy is not going to sit back and just start saying his typical line.
