CLS New Options for CLS 55 starting from Sept, 2005


The Mercedes-Benz CLS (initially called the CLS-Class) is a series of executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz from December 2003 to August 2023. The original model was a four-door sedan based on the Mercedes E-Class platform, marketed as a four door coupé. An estate (shooting brake) model was later added to the model range with the second generation CLS.

CLS 55 AMG Performance Package

2.1 Content
• Internally ventilated composite brake discs measuring 380 x 36mm on the front axle
• Multiple-disc limited slip differential incl. reinforced final drive unit
• 19" AMG multi-piece twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, (front: 8.5 x 19 ET 25 with 255/35R19, rear: 9.5 x 19 ET 28 with 285/30R19)
• Maximum speed limitation (Vmax) increased to 300 km/h
• AMG ergonomic sports steering wheel in leather /Alcantara (black)

2.2 Price
Code 030 Performance Package CLS 55 AMG (219.376): 9,860€ incl. 16% VAT

The Performance Package for the CLS 55 AMG is available only with the payable equipment code 475 (Tyre pressure monitoring)

2.3 Availability
The Performance Package for the CLS 55 AMG is available from September 2005.

wow, impressive! LSD is a big thing, and raising the bar on the power output.... this might be the car to get... These are some major differences as far as driving agressivley goes! Kudo's MB for realizing what they should be doing!
 
AlxAMG: i think it would be a nice replacement to ur CL55 .. u won't loose ur Mods on ur current engine since they are practically the same block .. and u ll get a fresher looking ride .. what do u think?
