if it has an interior which looks something like that drawing, just "something", 20% or something, it would be so good. Pity it has about none of it.

All is not lost, for they will share the emblem in the center of the steering wheel.

And that's it.

More views and replies than the last official 7-series thread

But by far I don't think any thread as been able to match S-Class pages/threads.

Hmm, yeah guess so :D

That's not a CGI
really? was looking from my small 4" screen, colours made it look like a fake, particularly when it was directly under the CGI of the G11. Sorry. but still, why a concept like that when the production gets nothing near it?

Still think this front is the thread's sexiest.

Think the real thing will look solid, but I doubt that I'll drop my jaw this time, high hopes for the technical specification and actual driving experience though, as I'm not really interested in all that technology and safety shi* to be honest.

Oh, and a bit offtopic, but I need to get this off my chest. See, it's this little bugger in the picture. I've tried to figure out what's up with him, is it some kind of reflection, why is he missing half of his body and so on. Could someone render his body on the pic? I've attempted, but I don't think I've got it right.

I think most of the options will debut in new 7

"Here's the list of newly created options you will likely see in BMW cars 1-2 years from now. It's unknown, which specific cars will have them. Wheel styles, colors, lines, and trims have been omitted."
5AS BMW laser lights
2VS active comfort drive with camera
6U9 BMW touch command
5AV active guard
407 panorama glass roof "sky lounge"
6WD wifi hotspot
3DS BMW display key
3KA acoustic comfort windows
4HB heat comfort package, front
4HC heat comfort package
443 LED flashing warning light blue/yellow
4VC inductive charging
4VD preparation, inductive charging
4F5 executive lounge rear console
4FH climate comfort seats
6FR rear entertainment experience
5A1 side view assist
4HA seat heating, front and rear
5DM parking assistant (working name)
5DN parking assistant plus (working name)
5H1 range extender (working name)
6NP USA telephony
4F4 executive lounge seating
3CL welcome light carpet
6AG e-drive services
6U8 BMW gesture control
3CM leather engine cover

The leather engine cover may be related to an area on the i8 above the engine. You can choose to deck out this area in leather.

Reall, I didn't know that. Makes a lot of sense now with the spy shots of the 7er still all having the fake hoods!
The plot thickens....:cautious:

All other options appear to be as hinted:

Sky lounge
Wi fi hotspot
Inductive charging
Gesture control
Touch command
Parking assist +

I would agree? That more three dimensional effects in the taillights and boot-lid cut out are required in order to confirm everything else at the rear of the car.
This is still based on the F01 as there is no three dimensional character line helping to split the car in two allowing a more broader lower section to help define the wheel arches and lower section of the car. And the boot-lid shape is straight from the F01 it doesn't have that coupe like c-pillar sweep to the boot-lid and rear.

This has a similar rear light styling feature of the F/L E65, with the chrome strip running into the outer brake light.

^Disagree respectfully.
Such details may not but can have a huge effect. Imagine the VFL without its flanks.... just dull. Or the F01 without the rearlight-character line integration... that is pretty much its only virtous and brillant design element.

Some press guys (for instance, Auto Zeitung) have obviously inspected a prototype lately....

I am reading almost all the comments around here...A lot of people putting all bunch of options...Like the only thing that is going to miss on the next G11 is...FLYING...

Come on...THERE IS NO FUTURISTIC OPTION THAT WILL BE ON G11...

It has passed months and months and BMW still hasn't put any LASER OPTION on i8 , just NEWS...

From NEWS to REALITY is a long road...

Don't get me wrong...I like BMW...I own one...But in the past 10 years I think that BMW is ONLY putting all their actions to make DYNAMIC cars...not GADGET-PROOF cars...
