^ That wouldnt surprise me, friend of mine showed me his posts on one serbian car site, and that guy acts like a real fanboytroll.

BMW'S not making a big song and dance about the 4 corner air suspension. So I guess they didn't reinvent the system per se. Certainly not like Porsche claimed back when the Panny was launched.

Then again let's face it and be honest, can anything compare or stack up against Daimler's ABC strut and damper technology?

one that works in the dark too?

I don't remember seeing the remote control parking in action previously

P.S. it does have steering function afterall

I saw the car in person and also sat in it. Sat in both the standard(Sophisto) and M-sport(mineral white). Its loaded with technology. I tried the gesture control. if you want to increase/decrease volume more than a bit then gesture control is faster than pressing the button on steering several times. They have only 5 gestures for now. I like the reject phone call gesture(another useful gesture). I told the BMWNA product manager that they should work on ability to save owners custom gestures.:) Overall great job over F01.

STOP.... Please let it go,all of you guys.. Don't turn this into a pointless personal vendetta

Responding in a trollish way. But hey, thumbs up for those staying always on a single brand forum and quoting with rage to those who dare to say something negative about one´s brand. How fortunate to love everything a brand does and bitch about the other´s work.

Nor you or I are in a position to say anything about that. He might find you pathetic for liking both BMW and MB (I don't think he does, nor do I). It's a bit like being a fan of both Real Madrid and Barcelona. But hey, Tomazino is NOT judging you! Are you judging him?

I really like you SKY, but I also like Tomazino and I find it cheap to attack him.

So much better than MB's crazy way of turning some wheel on a smartphone.

Umm I don't think you're actually controlling the steering from the phone. You're simply controlling the speed and progress of the manoeuvre.

I notice there is already some leather wrinkling on the driver's seat.
Didn't expect this so early...
As someone in the car industry, I can tell you right off the bat that this happens when 100's of people sit inside demo cars... Always is the case with any brand at the motor shows and etc

I posted the photos of the Panamara suspension and Daimler's ABC hoping to get more information from @SCOTT27 on BMW'S 4 corner air suspension.

Now that the thread is back on track.

Do not worry an in depth report will be given at the time of the first media drives. It something they want the media to discover for themselves, its something the engineers are very excited about.

Indeed! Have said it years ago and repeating myself as this problem occurs over time on every seat bolster. Back in the 90's and early 2000's BMW South-Africa used local South-African tannery leather called 'SA-trim' and that was the best quality, best looking and feeling leather EVER! Also did not wrinkle nor scuffed that easily on the bolsters. Took years of abuse before it happened. I guess it's economy of scales things get's "cheaper".

True. Demo / show cars suffer from that problem A LOT. The frequency of getting in & out, setting the seat, moving on a seat (to reach / check this and that) is extremely high.
