What "new" BMW are we going to see by the end of this month?

As we've been told, BMW are showing us a new vehicle every end of the month. So far, facelifted X3, 3er Coupe, X5 and M6 Cabriolet.

So does it mean we will see a new model this upcoming week?

What do you guys think it will be? M5 Touring, 1-series with two doors?

I'm hoping it will be the M5 Touring, that vehicle interests me quite a bit :usa7uh:

yep gotta be the touring..and its about time.. the 5er is almost old now

^lol that can be the case..BMW often suck when it comes to showing new things

Because the M5 Touring will almost coincide with the launch of the facelifted 5 Series, don't you think BMW will launch the Touring after the facelift, so the new M model will receive all the mid-cycle changes.

No, i don't think so, UCG.
I think that the M5 touring is coming this time
The 2-door 1er is a very important model and it has to be annouced much time before and with the best advertisement, since they expect it to sell much..

only disappointments are the carshows. BMW has held their promise so far to show us a new car every month, here they havent failed us.

That is exactly what is going to happen I think. No M5 Touring before the facelift. Showing the M5 Touring alongside the facelift alongside the 5er facelift is a strong possibility however. That would give the 5er range a nice bit of attention again, and boost the sales :)

Don't worry, we have plenty of time left....

One day to be exact... :icon_roll

LA Auto show is going on ... So don't expect anything from BMW at this moment ...

Lately, we're supposed not to expect anything from BMW on most important Auto Shows like LA, Paris, etc...

How do you comment that, Eni? This is really frustrating!!!

BMW AG stick to their proved promotional formula: first announce a new vehicle via PR, then let journalist drive it, and then show the car to the general public. Sometimes test drive comes after the show - depends of how new the model is.

This formula allows triple media exposure.

Well, they've announced many things so far and now, please, show the damn thing(s)!!! And whatever that formula allows i'm personally disappointed with it! It sucks... Big time! :thumbdown

They are showing E70 X5 and Hydrogen 7 at LA auto show right now (both announced & test driven already).

E93 3er cabrio was announced few weeks ago, and will be shown in Detroit in January. Test driven before the launch in March.

Also 1er 3dr + 5dr facelift are coming very soon (with new engines; premiere in Geneva). M5 touring & 5er facelift soon after that. Before their respected launches in Spring / Summer 2007.

Also 6er facelift coming in Fall 2007 ... with new I6 engines ... incl. diesel one.

Some new engines for X5 will arrive in late 2007 ... Hint: diesel.

M3 Concept in Geneva 2007 ... Production version in Frankfurt.

2er cabrio & most likely X6 will be also announced via PR in 2007 ...

Don't be surprised to see X6 "xSport" Concept on one of the upcoming shows in 2007 ...

And then new 7er, V5, 3er facelift, M3 sedan, M3 cabrio, 2er coupe in 2008 ...

Plenty of exciting news.

But - yes - BMW AG are very conservative, and like to do the marketing very rationally. After all its about car business, not show business.

What to say? Thanks for your reply, mate.:usa7uh:

But i'm still disappointed, very disappointed. Those are probably the reasons why and that's the way it works, but i personally don't like it.

Who cares anyway?

as usuall a let down from BMW´s side..at a car show..
