Where it all happens....

^Congrats man, happy motoring and let us know how it drives.

Thanks. Well, from the S5, it feels different in that it somehow feels lighter? Gears change quickly.

Haven't had a chance to open her up as city driving and a lot of traffic today.

Sound is of course different in now that I can hear the engine!

Inspired choice for colour and trim combination, ss5. Inspired. Is that a right-hand drive car I see there? I thought you were 'States-side.

Congrats man, and many happy, safe miles.

Thanks. Driving very carefully now...keep slowing down when trucks come too close!:eusa_doh:

Nope, am in Asia. Can see a coconut tree in one of the pics:t-cheers: I was under the impression from the thread that the State side car does not arrive so soon?

Contratulations man, enjoy the beauty/monster u have there...

Moving from an s5 to an rs5, does it feel much differant? And how?

Are you suggesting there are no coconut trees in the US? I saw some in Florida last week, seen them in Hawaii too.

Congrats on the new car, first owner's pics I have seen. I still haven't seen one IRL though. Can you post some interior pics?

First thing I noticed was the gear. The S5 has the .....well, whatever gear it has. It behaves like an auto. In drive, take foot off the break and the car moves forward. The RS5 has the .....again, I have no idea, whatever gear. More like a manual. Car does not move forward and drops back on a slope!:D

More power. Earlier I said it felt "lighter". I guess that is because more horses and so the car picks up pace quickly.

In dynamic, it has the blip sound when you change gear. That is really nice.

Balance on corners seems a lot better now as well.

I have not really opened her up as she is still being run in. Will know more in a couple of weeks I guess.:usa7uh:

haha yeah, I knew that was a mistake the minute I posted it.....ie the coconut trees!:eusa_doh:

IRL? Ok, need to take the interior pics. I didn't this time as was sweating like a bandit taking the exterior. Was a hot day.

Beautiful colour combination, aluminium package isn't generally my thing but with Daytona Grey it really does suit it. What spec did you end up with?

Many happy miles! I understand that you had some differet thoughts regarding colour, are you happy with your choice? I think it is really good looking in that grey...

NICE! One of the very few Audis that I like, love that colour too, dark grey is maybe even overtaking white as my favorite colour on a car
