Awww... they didn't follow in Mercedes tradition of having the first photos of the car with AMG Sports kit just to look extra appealing. :( ;)

Can't wait for Brabus to get their hands on this! :D

I see nothing wrong with the Citan. Did you know the Sprinter is a Volkswagen LT underneath and vice-versa? Mercedes never suffered any kind of brand damage because it sell Viano's and Sprinter.
They're no lonely wolfs in Europe anymore.

Are there interior photos availiable?

This is a Citan Transporter interior. Citan Kombi and Citan Mixto interiors are not jet available.

This thread reminded me that I thought that it's not the right time to be a BMW fan but what to say about MB and the direction they are most probably taking... I guess we are about to see a big german let down any time soon from the trio :)

First Citan delivered to Post Office, for testing. ;)

Mercedes-Benz Citan panel van first drive review
Mercedes' first-ever compact van is the sister of the Renault Kangoo, but the Citan offers considerable brand appeal

What is it like?

Impressively refined. And rather car-like, which bodes well for the Traveliner version. Acceleration is perky, although with only a driver and no cargo carried, it ought to be. The five-speed gearbox has a nice positive action, and despite lacking a sixth ratio (that’s reserved for the range-topping 110bhp version), a motorway cruise is possible in relative peace.

I love the Sprinter and the Viano but that Citan is too ugly to even look at :D
The Crafter/Sprinter are both German products with shared R&D as far as I know.
The Citan is just a rebadged Kangoo and nothing more... ahh and it's French!

The Citan might make it to the USA? :)
