The lines are OPTIONAL!!! You can still configure & order a "standard" car with optional features (at least in most markets). Yet some design features (trims, colors, rims) are Line exclusive, that's true.

Agreed. Your non-petrolhead friends won't be able to tell apart this one from the old one, especially if they sit INSIDE.

Man I would be kicking myself if I bought one of these and then the new Range Rover Sport came out.

I hope the X6 will be a radical design.

not really,in W222 case we got very unordinary angles..but this X5 is shown in standard stance at the very start.

C'mon guys, there's very little revolution one can achieve with a two-box SUV design.

It's achievable though. Think of the difference between the first and second generation of MB's ML.

On the other hand, BMW's recipe with the X5 works perfectly fine, so there's no need to change anything.

It change nothing that we did know long ago how the unordinary lines look. And if you look closer, the X5 do have unordinary lines, too. I dont expected a radikal new design because the X5 do have it´s winning formula.
