The quality of the interior is not as bad as I thought it would be. The electronic hardwares look bespoke if not as sophisticated as those of the Germans.

Avantgarde Italianism. It's fulfills it purpose as an Italian XF - elegant but yet nonchalant at first encounter. Even the engine bay is a feat for the yes. Let's hope Maserati have tighten their belt on cabin quality.

Looks good! The renders we saw weren't that far off after all.
Does the license plate indicate that it's getting 530hp?

Very mixed reaction, i like the fact that they put real headlights on this one unlike the deformed ones on the previous car, but on the other hand tail lights and surface treatment of the body profile look asian and cheap. Is pinin in charge ?

I have a better first impression of this new generation than the last. I wouldn't call it asian, it is a very evolutionary update of the previous car.

Yes, rear end is as generic, vainilla flavour as it gets.......

The more I look at it, the more I like it. I love what the Quattroporte stands for: an alternative, left-field, luxo-barge choice that probably gives up a fair bit in terms of build integrity and refinement against its German rivals but makes up for it with loads more character.

I think I really like it. I never thought they would manage to improve, but it looks like they did, and in every single aspect. I am very relieved about the result, and there is apparently more good news to come.

Audi S7/S8, M6 GranCoupé, Panamera Turbos better watch out. Talks of 530 PS with AWD in a car lighter than 2.000 kg.

The new 4porte isn't a bad car but design wise it doesn't shine in any area... hopefully it will feel different on the road!
It's not my cup of tea once again... my father was considering the first gen. 4porte and the Panny but I told him "Please don't" for both cars and he listened... I was always suggesting a bach but it wasn't his cup of tea :)

I love the exterior, however the interior is slightly generic, less interesting than A/S8's.

The air-vents and the steering wheel look out of place in a exotic sports saloon.

Is it going to be made in the US Chrysler plant?

Also is it based on Chrysler platform, or is it a bespoke Maserati platform?

That's and truly depicts the concept of "different strokes for different folks" because I think the A8's interior is the most bland and most generic of any of its F-Segment peers, even the homely LS.

This new Q-Porte interior IMO is extremely avant-garde and highly elegant. I also love the increase in length/lergroom, which was my only real gripe with the last gen. Exterior is much, much better than expected and perfectly simple, and I am absolutely smitten with that body work. I can honestly say I have a new found interest in the Quattroporte.

The headlights looks very similar to the first gen CLS and the hood anatomy of the second gen..
