Comparo: BMW 4 Series Coupe vs. Audi A5 vs. Mercedes C Class Coupe

The 4er is a very successful design, the Audi is showing its age, the Merc's 2s of sex appeal has has gone long ago.

Even when I'm far from impressed by the new 4er, the C-Coupe has never been anything special, and the A5 is an old lady. So BMW for me.

Though I would wait for the A5 mk.II

The 4er wins here, but the 6er is still BMW's best looking production vehicle, in any form. It is going to take an M4 for the 4 design to really pop. Nothing else from BMW compares to the 6 Coupe, Convertible, Gran Coupe for me.

M

The 4er in this poll is the 435i which is an S5 competitor. The 435i with 20 inch rims looks better than the white diesel Audi pictured in this poll so I voted for the 4er. If the S5 (especially in a darker colour) was in the poll I would have voted S5.

The 4er don´t have Mpackage, too. So it is fair again. ;)

I like all three, but if I had to rate them on which one I like best....

1. Audi A5
2. BMW 4
3. MB C (rather wait for the new model)

The M5 looks incredible, also the regular 5 series with M package.

A5 before the facelift would be my choice on looks alone. A5 after the facelift would be last.

Why is this thread in the BMW section and not in the internal combustion?

I'd pass. Looking forward to next generation rivals, Mercedes C Class Coupé and Audi A5 without forgetting the Lexus RC.

Not at all surprised to see the 4 series winning this poll by a landslide but what does surprise me is more votes for the C-coupe compared to the A5. In the looks department the Merc is a distant third to the other two IMO both inside and out.

Other than the lack of frameless windows and the accord-style wrear windows corner, the C Coupé is very nice, just as the C Sedan. In Black Series guise, the C Coupé kills every possible car, even supercars.

^So let's get this straight it takes a C-coupe costing £100k before its worth considering. On what planet are you on because its most certainly not the same one as the rest of us are on, very few people could afford such a machine which is why the normal version needs to look good and frankly this C-coupe hasn't aged anywhere nearly as well as the A5 has but if I was to be honest this 4 series has made the necessity for the others to get their replacements to market pronto.

You forgot I'm on planet Levi!!!!! Why don't I drive a BMW? Because I could not afford an M3 E92, so I drive a crappy FWD Alfa Romeo. Never will I ever wish to buy a non RS Audi, non AMG Mercedes or non M BMW. And what if I will never be able to afford them? That is why I want that bloody RWD Alfa Romeo Giulia, that takes decades to come, it was promissed after the 156, and ended up by being an "all show no go" 159 with crapp GM engines.

German Cars < Foreign Cars < Audi RS, BMW M, Mercedes AMG, Porsche

Get it.
