Porsche Carrera S
Highs, Lows, and Verdict >
Highs:
Every millimeter the driver’s car, an exhaust note that rewards poor judgment.

Lows:
Priced out of reach for many people who would provide loving homes.

Verdict:
It’s an un-freaking-believably good day when you get to say another car beats this one.
Corvette Stingray
Highs, Lows, and Verdict >
Highs:
Accessible performance gets even more exploitable.

Lows:
Insulates its driver from some sensations of driving.

Verdict:
Won’t embarrass you at a three-fork dinner, but don’t ask it to order the wine.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 vs. 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S – Comparison Test – Car and Driver

The Carrera S must have had almost every option to get that high of an MSP.

No doubt, the new vette is one hell of a value for the money but the 911 is still the better car.

The Vette is a cracking machine and to be honest I haven't seen let alone sat in one of its latest but if its similar to those in the past then the material chosen inside reflect its price compared to the Porsche. To some this means little and it's all about the performance these people will be won over by the Vette but for others there's no accuse for using inferior materials to keep the costs down.

My point is that all things considered the Vette doesn't deserve full marks and neither does the 911 deserve only 1.

Some might say the 911 is too good to beat... I'd say the Vette is too cheap to beat :)
A Cayman S over the 911 any day of the week for me...
