X3/X4 BMW X4 is coming...

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. Now in its fourth generation, BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3, trading its practicality with a sloping rear roof which offers a sportier styling. BMW has indicated 2025 will be the X4's final model year.
No, the shape of the first unit is different from the other two. I am not talking about Xenon (1st unit), old school *YUCK* bulbs (2nd unit) or LED (3rd unit). The shape of the Xenon fitted headlights appears to be different from the others..could be the slightly different angle but I doubt it...

And the LED headlight has a LED blinker in the front, but the rear light unit has bulbs for turning? Pffff....c'mon!

Remember you will be able to get an X4 18d and 20d for entry customers. If you have ever seen a BMW 1er or 3er at its most basic standard form, ie no options whatsoever including Halogen headlights.

I know, and it's pathetic. Don't forget the 5er btw. They have the balls to give you that car with halogen too if you don't pay them :dead:

My guesses are that the two lower head lights are for some other Bimmer model. Maybe X6? Definitely not for the X4 though!

I have actually come to the conclusion that they are the same light from a different angle. Just like those rear light units next to it.
Also, take a look at pictures of the X4 dead on, and slightly angled. It's exactly like those patent images:

You're right! Should've checked the pics again before opening my mouth. Weird how the angle can make the lower, outer corner of the light so different.

Not a big fan of the concept myself, but I usually tend to like the production version's looks anyway, so pretty excited to see how it'll turn out to look like :)

Probably, I have this often with new Bimmers.

Instant hits, normally doesn't last into timeless winning designs e.g. LR Evoque, Previous gen. Honda Civic. most French cars etc.
The Germans may sometimes be accused of being conservative, spartan or even unimaginative, yet between all the marques and brands they mostly win with timeless and great designs. Has to grow on you, I believe in that philosophy.
