This, ladies and gentlemen, is the all new 2014 BMW X5. The above image leaked through the latest issue preview of the German automotive magazine, Auto Motor und Sport. What we see is an evolution of the current design, with the headlights meeting the kidney grill, just like the F30 3 series. The overall shape and side profile is almost unchanged, yet details like the aluminum inserts of the side skirts and the front bumper, give BMW's full size SUV a much sportier look. Even though we don't have a photo of the rear right now, the spy photos suggest that the rear design follows the same evolution pattern, with redesigned L-shaped taillights with LED tubes.
The new X5 will come with the brand's familiar range of V6 and V8 petrol and diesel engines, with the top of the line X5-M arriving about a year later. Stay with us for the official press release and photos of the new X5, expected probably later today.
