S-Class W222 [Official] Mercedes Benz S63 AMG (W222)

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class produced from 2013 to 2020, serving as the successor to the W221 S-Class and predecessor to the W223 S-Class. The W222 has a similar design theme to the C-Class (W205) and E-Class (W213).

Yikes. The only thing I'll have to get used to is that front lip, its really big is some of the pics.

I expected a more aggressive rear to match the giant air vents up front. A larger diffuser or something. Apart from the quad exhaust (that hasn't been changed from the 2013 model it looks like) there aren't any defining signs. Im a little underwhelmed. Maybe that'll change after seeing it in person.

The black cf trim is tacky on S class (and SLS), but very nice otherwise.

ps. Is that center lock wheels? That would be a goofy oxymoron - center lock wheels on a 2 ton luxury sedan.

From the press pack: The AMG light-alloy wheels feature a high-quality, screwable and fully integrated wheel bolt cover made of forged metal. Its shape is reminiscent of a centre lock as seen in motorsport.

Ahh its tremendous, but like the others said its a bit underwhelming for an AMG.
But i think in a dark color and real life, it should be imposing enough:)

Love that they kept the 2 spoke, nice and fat one at that:)

Lovely interior details to.

Monster performance 900NM:D

And i guess this might open up some space for the 65 to differentiate itself from the rest of the line up, which is only fair as it costs about twice as much as the 63.

PS
I hate those rims, they are un imaginative and small, but i think(hope) there are optional wheels.

The W222 is just absolutely spot on.

Mercedes did say that the next AMG's were going to be toned down for some markets (Europe). Perhaps they'll be some aggressive upgrades for the less conservative markets (US).

the rims are ugly as hell...they would fit on a honda civic, but not on an S-Class...
i'm missing the oldskwl AMG fullwheels from the 90's...

There's "subtle" and there's doing absolutely nothing to distinguish it as an AMG.

Love the interior. Love the S-Class. I would like a more aggressive looking car though.
