Must have a account an important detail, this is a World Forum, and the English language is not the only language in the world, seriously there are people in the world who speak other languages!

I try to write at times respecting the fact that this Forum is in English, I support even with the google translator, with the desire to participate.

Correction and constructive criticism is always welcome, as long they are not pedantic
If this forum was in Spanish only, many who speak only English would look into the same problems as some of us.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we like cars in any language!

Betty is my new fav member on GCF:D

So much entertainment for free, you just have to love it!

PS
About this sound issue with the M5.
Im not really that bothered if they channel fake sound into the cockpit, as someone stated many others do.
But the others that do often have car that sounds great, Someone said Panny GTS?

The issue is that they're not channeling noise into the cabin. They're playing recorded fake audio over the speakers to make you think it's the engine. Piping in engine sound into the cabin would be something I wish they did. Whoever thought of this seriously needs to be let go because it's a retarded idea. The purpose of an M car is no compromises. It's BMW's 'hit me with your best shot' and 'get out of my way' division. The F10 just doesn't give me that sense. It pulls like a freaking train though! It just pulls and pulls and pulls some more in a straight line, but chuck it into a turn, and the body roll...oh man the body roll...

Is the F10 M5 what the W211 E55 Kompressor was?

And is the W212 E63 what the E39 M5 was ?

Maybe not completely but some what at least, i guess things change fast:)

It honestly seems like BMW has fallen asleep or is just resting on their morals, while AMG has somehow figured out the formula and is incorporating it into their cars. If you get a chance, just drive the C63 AMG with the revised refreshed suspension. It's not perfect, but man is it damn close. The only complaint I have is the transmission. Give me a 6 spd shift it myself-o-matic or a DCT.

Indeed there are, but my point still stands. If a non-native English speaker is writing something incorrectly, is it not a good idea to point out when something is wrong?

I work with over 20 different nationalities, all of which have to speak English to do their job. I'm used to working with different cultures and I'm extremely sensitive to language issues. As it happens the people who have the biggest problem speaking and writing English are the native English speakers.

Is BMW Prepping a special 30th Anniversary M5?

Meh, BMW "special editions" are so predictable that I would hardly call them special.

1) Insert limited edition badge on the dash or gear lever indicating "Chassis #XX of XXX"
2) Apply Matte colour spray paint.
3) Inflate price by 20%.
4) Limit production quantity.
5) Blogs report that special editions sold out in record time.
6) Profit??

If I could use a musical analogy to describe how predictable BMW special editions are, I would use that sad excuse of a music artist called pitbull.

That Pitbull list should also include "Mr Worldwide" and "Mr 305". Other than that, pretty accurate..

That side vent does look better blacked out though. Rims look tiny.

I take your point on it being off-topic, and I know this is also off-topic, but I really take exception to the discussion being called "pedantic". There's nothing pedantic about correcting grammar and spelling which is quite simply WRONG. It's this kind of attitude; that is accepting mistakes in grammar and spelling, that means we're in the current sad state of affairs.

I don't know why people are happy to accept mediocrity.

I am afraid, we are getting old and fast becoming the minority.
The younger generation these days have utter disregard for rules and correctness.

BMW Canada has announced some M5 and M6 limited production models, available in Frozen Black and Santorini Blue II.
They also include black kidney grilles, side markers, door handles and 20″ wheels. On top of this, they add M Performance Titanium Exhaust.
Production begins in November and December.

Great color, fantastic upgrade and nice review overall!

E63 vs RS6 vs M5 will be interesting!

It's a pity it doesn't drive as good as it looks.

Not to say that it is a bad car, but the current generation M5 is no longer the definitive sport sedan - it's more of a quasi sport sedan.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
