Continued: GT2 vs LP550-2
Steering: Feels kinda heavy in the lower rpms and starts to come alive at higher speeds, the GT2 is telepathic and 100% accurate.
Traction: Very predictable in the Lambo and easy to control, throttle respsonse in N/a engine is unbeatable, GT2 with boost building up and you're not aware of what's about to hit you could end your fun driving into a tree or anything nearby and maybe spend the rest of your life in the hospital, yes, the GT2 likes to punish noob drivers, it's the type of car that always goes for the kill and wasn't programmed to hold back

Driving/Attention Lambo: will draw everyones attention (children pulling their out of the window/sunroof, way too many females will be flirting with you and some would go down to sleep with you or beg you to marry them, guys, boy racers, mini-van drivers it gets annoying that you'd want to go find the first exit and disappear)
Driving/Attention GT2: Nobody gives a flying f**k about your look a like vw beetle, or it's just another 911 with a kit..meh, it's mostly GTR drivers that want to race you or Ferrari owners and their overhyped automatic F1 style gearbox that want to give it a try from roll and slow down when they figure out it's not another 911 that you get to see every morning. (Badge deleted from the factory which helps confuse everyone out there
)
Brakes: The pedal in the Lambo feels firm and I haven't felt what most of the mags have been complaining about (Spongy pedal) In the GT2, with a slight touch the speedometer needle drops quickly, I've yet to see one car manufacturer come close to Porsche's CCB braking power.
Ty(i)res: Pirelli PZero on the Lambo was quite until I put around 530miles/850km and it started to get loud, GT2 has gone through several rubbers and settled down with Michelin PSS which is the best tire out there, Lambo tires will be upgraded soon to PSS with 235/35 and 305/30 instead of 295/30 in the back.
Sound/Noise/Exhaust Note: The V10 wants to explode! At full throttle it gives you that F1 style pitch, it bangs pops and crackles if you lift off, while the boxer-6 that has upgraded Europipe Stage 2 exhaust + Tune barks every time I lift off and switches into an air-cooled 993 mode at higher rpms.
Interior comfort: GT2 wins, but the Lambos V10 is very intoxicating that you'd forget about all the aches from your back and leg muscle (happened on day 1 only)
Transmission(Gearbox) Upshifting / Downshifting: both cars are enjoyable, but the Lambo has a special *Click* coming out of 2nd and going into 3rd, the GT2 is way too notchy when cold and starts to get smoother when the oil temp rises.
In the Lambo it sounds like when two sword fighters cross swords / GT2 is like firing a pistol (P-38 from Lupin the 3rd anyone?) that weighs over 20lbs (only when cold) from WW1 with a bang.
Visibility: Visibility goes to Porsche as for the Lambo, I still need some time to get used to its dimensions.
Ground clearance: Hands down Lambo has done an excellent job by installing the lifting system and there's no way you'd scrape your front bumper, GT2 you need to turn the steering wheel and give it a full cut and move like a snail whenever I get her out of my driveway to avoid scraping the front lip.
Final verdict Lamborghini: Do you want to get laid so badly ? bang over 10 chicks in 1 night ? the Lambo does wonders, things that I've never heard of before in any of my previous cars including P-cars, if you have bad intentions the Lambo can make your wish come true. It's like a special genie that will grant you one wish "SEX" for free.
Don't bother with a 6MT if you're after girls, you'll need your right hand to note down cell phone numbers etc...
Final verdict Porsche: If you think you've got balls made out of steel, then I can assure you're wrong! I'm no Walter Rohrl or Timo Kluck, but when it comes to driving a manual there's no way in hell I'll stall or mis-shift. It can end your life if you've never been behind a 500hp 911, you just have to show some respect and make sure you're on an open road if you want to test your limits.
Forget about going full throttle in a 911 inside the city, let alone in a GT2 with 600hp+. One slight mistake and you'll end up getting bitten by a shark. It's prepared to PUNISH you severely. (Does the alias Jigsaw from SAW movie ring a bell ?)
My older brother test drove my GT2 twice and he thinks that there's a dark and powerful force hidden somewhere under the skin of this 911.
They're two completely different cars, my only reason for picking up the Lambo (planned to go for STS with 6MT/RWD) was because the factory decided to kill the last car with a true shifted gater and a naturally aspirated V10 engine + RWD.
MY13 Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Option list:
- Exterior Color: Blu-Caelum
- Interior Color: Nero/Nero (Everything Black + Stitching)
- Transmission: 6-Speed Manual (I never get tired of upshifting/downshifting)
- Steering Wheel in Perforated Leather
- Brakes: CCB (Carbon/Composite/Ceramic Brakes?) + Yellow Calipers
- Lifting System
- Callisto Rims in Silver
- Branding Package (Lambo script + Logo on headrests)
- Navigation System
- Rear View Camera
- White Side Indicators
The factory should at least throw in a free cd/usb stick to every manual owner, it should've been mandatory
Maintenance cost is what keeps us apart (e.g. $25k for clutch replacement)
