The big secret is that you are looking at a fully operational concept of the Vision Efficient Dynamics in the intention BMW set out to do.
The car has been tested by selected groups of journalists over the last few weeks at BMW's Miramas facility.
Their drive reports are under embargo and will be coming to coincide with the reveal.

Sorry for the confusion, I was referencing 35K as shorthand for a reported 35,000 unit sales forecast. I was replying to speculation that the 35,000 units might be a 7 year cumulative number which didn't make sense to me. The 35,000 units may be a realistic annual target if there are indeed less-expensive (traditional) versions planned.

Still not sure what the hell to make of this tease though.

Of course Vision Efficient Dynamics is BMW's interpretation of a Sports car for the future... But what of BMW's mainstay's?

Now I think about it, these kind of marketing campaigns might be quite interesting for marketing creators and the rest of the mk stuff, but from my point of view, they absolutely bore me, I´m tired of this stupid games, and the teasers, the leaks and so on.

Clearly as Scott said that the 6er Coupe Concept won't be the only concept in Paris from BMW.

If you remember we had two concepts at the Mondial l'automobile , Paris back in 2008.

BMW Concept X1 and BMW Concept Active Hybrid 7.

The second concept is to focus on the drivetrain that now does as it was expected to do, and how close it really is to reality.

In Paris there will be 5 Concepts - 2 main ones, plus the Gran Coupe , 1er Active E and the Active Hybrid 5. With the Active Hybrid 5 now takes it's place of the original X6 Active Hybrid Concept which was showcased well until it's launch.
in which the Active Hybrid 5 will launch at next years IAA in September.

Sadly decided against is the 1M. It could make an appearance on press day for that I am not entirely sure at this point? and be removed before the public days.

But they might just dont want to take the risk , knowing that there are crazed M fans out there who might overpower the security guards and rip the rest of the velcro panels off.
