Definitely time to see the coupé again, with hopefully as little tape as this cabrio here. It's looking great for a big 4 seat cabrio, but the coupé will look much better imho

I actualluy prefer the pictures to the video, much more time to see details, thanks for posting just_me.
But I can see how you're annoyed by it, it's a lot like some dude who repeated the same negative comments in every thread about the doom of bmw and M GmBh and I got really worked up about it, so I totally get you. :usa7uh:

What? You mean being on an internet forum and somebody has a different opinion to yours? And you got "really worked up about that"? Maybe you shouldn't go on internet forums, if only for the sake of your health? ;)

yeah, sure, it's me having problems with different opinions, not you, nooo, you're a regular mister popular around here :usa7uh:

edit: I do have to applaud you for a change in attitude, you have been far more positive lately in this and the M5 thread. Maybe it's because after months of doom and gloom your "predictions/facts/opinions" are mostly all falling like domino's. I hope this is a trend for the good of the forum to at least wait until the car is finished to pass final judgment and see that there is a good reason BMW is THE premium brand to beat at the moment.

nooo, you're a regular mister popular around here.

You know, I realise people can take me or leave me. But I find it's the members who have something worthwhile to post and who are taken seriously, that I get on with. Where as it always seems to be the childish and immature ones who don't like me, which is perfectly fine to me. :D

You mean just like fanboys wait before they proclaim the M5 is going to be amazing/better than any of the competition/wipe the floor with the competition/be the best M5 yet?

It's funny. When someone voices their concerns that they fear the M5 may not be perfect, they are told to wait until the release to pass judgement. Yet it's OK for fanboys to predict the M5 will be "amazing" before it's released? :t-crazy2:

I have changed. I've learnt to ignore blind, pig-headed fanboys, which is why I'm not going to continue responding to you. :)

Sometimes it's so easy it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

So you are the standard for whats a worthwhile member? Djeezes, that's mindboggingly arrogant.
Ow, and you'll have a hard time finding blind praise by me on the forum. But yeah, just make a big pio of all of those who dare to oppose. The 1M coupe thread says it the best. For weeks you keep bitching about all kinds of things. 3 out of 4 you were wrong about, but in stead of being a big boy by admitting you might have jumped the gun, you solely focus on the one unknown figure yet. But yes, everybody else is pigheaded.

Please, no more off topic posts. This thread is about the F12/F13 6 series.

Surely this is the weekend we get some coupe photos with less camouflage, a better sense of scale, proportion and line, more interior shots..., let's go crazy and see what the M variants have under the hoods, puh-leeze!

Sensa cuore, saremmo solo machinne

Con machinne, possiamo fare il nostro contenuto dei cuori--particolarmente quando il nuovo coupe di 6 serie arriva!

And throw in official shots and info on the M1, and we have a perfect weekend :usa7uh:

BTW, 14-8-'10, today, I'm off to the Nurnburgring today with a couple of friends and a couple of Bimmers...... OH HELL YEAH. 340 km drive, 200 of them on the German Autobahn.

I´ve read on another site (I don´t remember wich) that the new 6er CS will be priced more or less in the same cathegory as the Coupe.

Having seen the new 5er on the streets so much during my holidays, I guess our new car will be a 6er (GC looks more practical, but the Coupe will look so good that I´m considering it too), or the new CLS.

For me, it's a long wait till the 6GC M version materialize.

Good post just_me.

Does anybody know what motor is under the hood of that 6er with the rectangular exhausts?

Is it an M6?

LOL, you've had the Panny for only a small year, probably even less. I'm sure you can hold on to it a little longer ;)

The product itself is awesome. What is putting me off is the customer service. I don't want to start about how pissed I am toward the customer service level over here. When I owned BMWs, I had nothing but respect for the product and customer service. With the Porsche, I have to justify every single minor issue.

My X6 had few glitches but it was fixed right away without yapping over and over about who is responsbile for this. My Panny is perfect for what it is but the dealer sucks.

Few examples: My car had PCM issue where it restarted, I said that is no big deal. I went to the dealer, they inspected the car and returned it back unfixed. I said ok, so what is it? they answered, PCM could be faulty but we took a video of the problem to convince porsche to replace it, I said fine I can live with that. Later that day, I picked my car and the fuel gauge showed -- range remaining !! I was like WT* ?? who drove my car that much ? So I tried to reach the nearst pump but no luck, the car stopped. So the next day I made a huge fuss about it, I got an apology and a free detail. 2 weeks later they called and my new PCM was ready, they installed it and when I was about to pick up my car, same story, no fuel !! and PCM is still running with no navigation since that has to be ordered seperately !!

Compare this to BMW service, when I had my X6 screen freezed once on the reverse camera screen. Stopped the car and reset the computer, it went away. It repeated twice and never happened. When I went for service, I mentioned this for the guys there as FYI note. When I recieved my car I noticed non of my DVDs is there in the changer. I was a little mad and asked the service guy: are your guys that desperate to steal my dvds ? he laughed and told me: look there, this is your old unit (which is one big bulk of all electronics inside the car: Screen/AC/Changer ) this is your old one. Your DVDs are there. I was stunned that I didn't even ask for it. Later on, I asked about my exhaust werid noises after a long journey, those ticking noises where the alloy start to cool down after being exteremly hot ? It was louder than usual, he said if you want we can replace the exhaust free of charge but those noises are normal and will come back after the car being driven for a while with the new exhaust, do you want a new one ? I said no.

So conclusion, great performance can sell a car, but stupid service can ruin it.

I still love the Panamera but I think I will not be able to cope with the dealer stupidity. And by nature it will be replaced in 2-3 years, so M6 GC is a perfect contender here (which will be right on time). To be honest, until now, no car convinced me over the Panny except the E63, but when I hop inside, I get turned off by the interior. I can't help the vibes I get from my older BMWs. It feels just like it. The Panny is much much better inside.

sorry for the long post and being off topic.

Regards

I´m afraid our interest for the GC will die as soon as we see the official pics of the Coupe, but anyway, imagine the new M6 GC, with 600 hp, it´s gonna be a monster.
