These are the only pics I have at this moment. I took my R8 to the dealer to have it's GPS tracker installed, and they lent me an A1 to drive for a few hours. I was amazed by how well it drove on the motorway even though it was the smallest engine. It felt solid and with cruise control and sat nav I could see myself doing long distances in it. As it happened, they had a few 1.2 TFSI S-Editions in stock, so I bought one.

I had a choice of Silver or this, Daytona Grey. I went for Daytona Grey because it's unique to the S-Edition on the A1, and it was also a colour I was considering for the R8.

I won't deny the fact that I find this an extremely beautiful car, congrats again Betty!

Same goes for the Polo IMO it's such a neat, tidy and appealing design.

I do love the Mini's and the new Mini Coupe will be my first choice albeit I have to first see it IRL.

Stunning car. Crap pics
Those who compare this to mini haven't seen one upclose or just cannot appreciate the fine audi craftsmanship.
The a1 feels like an a8 inside and out while the mini feels like a 2007 mondeo
I'd be driving one now if I could fit anyone in the back with their heads still attached.
And for the record although the r56 is technically far superior to the r53 the things I loved about the r53 (looks which they got right first time round/legendary mini go-kart handling/glorious supercharger whine) were all missing from it's younger (more grown up) brother.

You think so? I was almost going to take an exact same spec but with light silver paintwork. It looked great. The reason I went for Daytona was due to it being a special colour for the S Line and also I've never had a car that colour before.

The S Edition is a special offer in Holland and it includes the S Line interior and exterior when normally you have to pay for both separately. They only brought 250 to Holland. I negotiated a discount with the dealer too. PM sent.

The R8 and the A1 are probably the only Audis I would buy without any consideration!
You have my dream Audi garage And I really feel happy that there are people with such good taste!

Attraction, I wanted chassis compliancy, as I'm running it 99% high way. Silver metallic, 105 hp, arm rest, cruise control and fog lights pretty basic besides std spec. Still a 34K Euro car in DK.

I'm buying it to free up means to pursue a more fun weekend car, I don't have to use for commuting. Much like you.
