Actually facelifted Z4 (+ Z4 Coupe) was the first recent BMW with smiling air intake & incorporated horizontal strip. Although it's not chromed on Z4. :t-cheers:
 
I like it actually.... Are there pics of the New 3dr version yet??? BTW hi to all im new, i signed up awhile back but have been very busy with uni... I'm from Brisbane (Australia) and I am a passionate supporter of all things german... mainly there beer, women and BMW's!!!!!!
 
I actually like this, and it doesn't seem as big as the A3 4door which is good, nice interior as well.

Would like to see the 3door though...

Just as we were ready to call it a day, to our surprise, we discovered a promotional video featuring the facelifted 2007 BMW 1-Series flowing freely on the net. Although we can’t be 100% sure for its authenticity, I’d say it’s original content. I’ve spoken in the past with a couple of close friends who work in BMW and they’ve already informed me (off the record of course), that the facelifted 1-Series will be presented along with its 3-door sibling at the Geneva Show in March.

From what we made of the 1.29 min long video which features the 163Hp 2.0-litre turbodiesel 120d, the Bavarian 5door hatch has received a subtle exterior facelift which includes new front headlamps, revised tail-lamp crystals and a redesigned front bumper with larger air-intake and different fog-lights. We can’t seem to spot any differences in the interior though.

From our information, there’ll be a few changes in the engine department as the current 150 Hp 2.0-litre 4cylinder petrol will be replaced with a new 170Hp 2.0 that debuted on the 320i Cabriolet. We also suspect that the top-notch 130i with the 265 Hp 3.0 straight-six will get the revised 3.0 with an output of 272Hp.

New alloys! I really like the 3dr!

Can't wait on the final engine line-up (will there be a 123i?) and the prices (will the 3dr be cheaper than the current 5dr?).
 
Eni, am i wrong or i actually see the same rear lights technology here like on E60...?

very nice now it is really a sport hatch. I have my 130i msport 3 doors already on order.
