What Do GermanCarForum Members Think About Volvo?

After having spent 11 hours in a Volvo I can say that I could've done a few more hours even, that's how comfortable they are!
Both comfortable and ergonomic. The seats in the V70 even won an award once or at least were said to be the best car seats in the world by some ergonomics expert. Second was the S-Class which was more comfortable, but less ergonomic and worse for the back.

he, he Zonda. You get my point! Volvo seats are just...

I don't know if i have ever mentioned it here, but sometime in summer, me and my gf were going a short trip and she was driving. So combining her slow driving with the comfortable seats, i fel asleep :D

Seriously, in the last strong earthquake i slept in the car, about a year ago...

The worst car I have ever driven was a 1990 Volvo 240 GL Saloon with the anaemic normally aspirated 2.0L engine and a slushmatic box. The car was brand new; I was only 20 years old when I visited Germany for the first time, one year after the Berlin Wall came down.

Yes, the Volvo was a rental car.

I found an unrestricted Autobahn and then I floored it... and all I managed was 160 Km/h; and at that speed the box felt dangerously twitchy.

That said, however, in that same year I had the chance to drive a 740 Turbo Saloon and I though it was all right, apart from the Turbo-Lag and the numb handling.

Oh! And I really like the new Volvo C30.:usa7uh:
