C-Class (W205) W205 C200 Vibration on Accelerator

Good Day,

Im hoping that someone can help / advise:

I have a 2016 C200 with 8000 kms - the car is a great drive but there is a vibration on the accelerator at all speeds - it is very subtle but it is causing a pain up my right leg - it feels like every bump on the road is transferred to my leg.

The tyres and mags are in great condition - no vibration is felt elsewhere on car including steering.

I have three other vehicles, including a 2012 C180 with no similar issues.

Has anyone else had this problem? How was it resolved?

I would suggest that you see a doctor about your leg before you see a dealer about your accelerator.

For sure, I have something similar right now, but in my chest. It's probably a nerve that's stuck somewhere. Hard to even breath, let alone walk. Goddamn annoying.

Have you revved the car in neutral?
Do you feel the vibrations even when the car is in neutral across the rev band?
It is important to isolate the problem: engine, transmission, tyres, suspension, chassis.

Thanks Guys. My wife is a doctor so no concerns on the health front.

The car is stable in neutral - no vibrations - only picked up when in motion.

You should check all the bushings and engine mounts, and the bushings and rubber parts of the center axle (the one that connects the transmission to the differential, at the rear).

Maybe one of those is shot.

So definitely not an engine problem.
Try driving it and once the vibration is high, shift to neutral but keep the revs high -if there is vibration, you can eliminate the transmission. If there is none, try repeating the same step but coast to see if there is vibration.
