What about the crap bulbous look of the Golf V ? That fat ugly plastic ass, the vanish height of the roof and the utilitarian look of the interior ?

Haha You hate the car, huh? That "crap bulbous look" is quite attractive, at least in its class and has only changed marginally with the Mk. VI anyway. There's too much plastic on the Mk.V too but it's mostly the low-end models that look cheap while the higher end models looks classier than the regular Mk.VI (excluding GTI/GTD) IMO. I can't find much to complain about the roof height or interior quality either.

On the other hand I never liked the Mk.IV Polo so I'd gladly take this sleeping pill over it.

Much better that those dating lines/shapes of the Fiesta or 206 etc.

BTW 4 dr is better looking IMO.
