The animation is slightly misleading. They shouldn't have depicted the compressed air coming off the compressor turbine in almost the identical colour as the exhaust gas. The charged inlet air whilst it is pressurised (and therefore has a higher temperature) does not contain any exhaust gases. They could've shown it in a more discernably different shade - like a bright pink or light purple...
It's a nice graphic but not entirely accurate either - the mixing of the air / fuel mixture in the inlet manifold is stylised for the purposes of the animation.
Obviously, FSI mixes fuel and air directly in the combustion chamber.
