Following the pair of Polo R-WRC street and race cars announced at the 31st GTI Meeting at Wörthersee, Austria, Volkswagen also revealed the Golf GTI Concept White.​
Labeled a design study, the Golf GTI features a special Oryx White matt paintwork contrasted by a black/red interior. Sports seats trimmed in Nappa leather with red stitching is found on the steering wheel, handbrake lever and door armrests. Door sill trim panels with the GTI logo and honeycomb pattern in White Matt and Aluminum finsh off the concept.​
