In 2016, German auto industries had launched their new model in India after 2 years, Volkswagen Ameo which is the compact sedan, which is available with best in class features, impressive handling and good looks.
Exterior
It has defogger in the rear and fog lamp in the front along with OVRMs. One of the highlighting features, it has halogen headlamp with rain sensing wipers.
Interior
It has black and beige plastic touch on the dashboard along with the touchscreen infotainment system which is used for navigation purpose. It is coming in first with segment features which include cruise control, rear AC, one touch power window, automatic climate control and reverse parking camera. The front seats are comfortable and provide excellent back support, but rear seats are not so spacious in term of knee room.
Engine and Transmission
It has 1.2-litre MPI petrol engine which produces 74 bhp of power and 110 Nm torque. It has 5 gear manual transmission with and gives the mileage of 15kmpl in city and 18 kmpl on highway.
Safety
It has an anti braking system, child safety locks, ESP, hill decent control and 2 airbags. It has the responsive steering with fine ride quality and performance.
