Frequent visitors to the site will no doubt recognize the ProSpeed Audi Sport Quattro Hillclimb car, as it has been featured on our pages many many times. But just because we are familiar with the car, doesn’t mean in any way that we are beginning to tire of it. Check out the video below to see what we mean.

Its loud. Its angry. And its incredibly quick. When the ProSpeed car lines up to await the green flag, you just sort of know that you’re about to witness something special. A short time after launch control is engaged, the 770hp 5 cylinder rocketship flies up the hill, exhaust backfiring and wastegates fluttering the whole way.

It’s the sort of thing that every true Audi enthusiast should experience at least once.

Listen that turbosound. Why Audi don't bring that same engine, which was in old good days ;)

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
